WHY THE NEWSPAPER BEGAN

The reintroduction of the school newspaper began with the simplest conversation at lunch. But starting a club is no easy task. With a little hard work and dedication, anything can become a reality.

​The Valhalla Voice newspaper was established in 2017. Valhalla is synonymous to heaven - a peaceful place of festivity and beauty. We have transformed this idea to become a Viking heaven: a place where all Vikings students can feel open to writing without the pressures of the outside world.

 

GOALS

Students will be able to write about events and topics they are passionate about in an open environment.

Students will learn vital skills such as teamwork, communication, and leadership that will carry throughout college and the rest of life.

Students will gain knowledge about the growing outside world and learn the importance of staying up-to-date with the latest news events.
