Vaping

Vaping is safe right? Wrong. According to Truth.com, “Smoking is still the leading cause of death in the US, killing more Americans each year than AIDS, alcohol, car accidents, murders, suicides, drugs, and fires combined. So, yeah… A lot of things are safer than smoking.” If we look solely at the numbers, AIDS kills one million people a year, alcohol kills 80,000, 1,250,000 people die in car accidents, suicide takes 147,173 lives, and drugs take 75,000 people a year. That means more than 2,352,173 people are killed a year due to smoking.
Vaping can damage your body, just think about all that time you’ll spend getting sick when it breaks down your immune system. If that doesn’t make your stomach turn (pun intended), then the damage to your blood vessels and the increase in likeability of smoking real cigarettes, might sway you to sobriety.

You know what you’re putting into your body when you vape? I highly doubt you do. Vapes can sometimes contain very harmful chemicals, such as lead ( AKA the thing poisoning Flint, Michigan), nickel, tin, silver (moms earings don’t sound appetizing), and formaldehyde. Truth.com reported, “chemicals linked to cancer, and central nervous system problems,” are put into vapes.
One Juul pod is fine, except it’s not and you just had 20 cigarettes worth of nicotine. Vapes may sometimes claim to be tobacco free, but if they claim there is no nicotine, they’re lying. The legal age to vape is 18, but an alarmingly high number of minors are partaking in this infamous trend. E-cig CEO’s have even made statements about the amount of fruity and compelling flavors as their way to target younger audiences. The big tobacco companies have genetically engineered tobacco plants, which contain 2x the natural level of nicotine.
People with Depression and Anxiety are more likely to vape, they may even give you the excuse that it calms them down. They lied. Over time these conditions will become worse due to the nicotine. Some companies advertise a light option, which is deceiving, considering the same amounts of tar and nicotine are being delivered to the brain. Nicotine only needs ten seconds to get to your brain after the smoke is inhaled.
