Vegan Brownie Recipe

Hello! Here is your monthly food column coming to you for the month of February! This month, I

wanted to talk about a recipe that many of my vegan friends have tried. If you aren’t vegan, I

would still give it a try because you never know if you will like something or not! Today I will be

telling you how to make Vegan Brownies!

You are going to need unbleached all-purpose flour, salt, white sugar, vanilla extract, baking powder, unsweetened cocoa powder, and vegetable oil. Some of my friends use a few different things but these are the general items. When you start, you need to preheat your oven to 350 degrees and gather all of your items and a bowl and mixer. You will take all of your items and mix them together, as you would with regular brownies, and put them in a pan and evenly spread them. After this, you put them in the oven for 25 minutes and wait! While you are waiting, you can make other items to put on or with the brownies such as vegan icing or buy vegan ice cream! When they are done, let them cool and enjoy them! My friend uses this recipe and changes it up a little bit, but we also found an online version you can use with more in-depth steps.
